Refund policy
Each piece is handmade; small variations in shape, colour, and glaze are normal and not flaws. Please check sizing and photos carefully before ordering. If a piece isn't right for you, here's how returns work.
Your Right of Withdrawal
This 14-day right of withdrawal applies to orders delivered to Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom, under applicable EU/EEA or UK consumer law.
For orders delivered to Switzerland, the USA, Canada, or Australia, no statutory right of withdrawal applies, and Mūhr Ceramics does not offer a general change-of-mind return for these destinations. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, see "Damaged or Incorrect Items" below — that always applies, everywhere.

Right of withdrawal (Germany, Norway, UK only)
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party you named, other than the carrier) receive the goods.

To meet the deadline, just send your withdrawal notice before the 14 days are up — you don't need to have shipped the item back yet.
Effects of withdrawal
We'll refund all payments, including standard delivery cost (excess cost of a pricier delivery option is excluded), within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof of return, whichever is first — using your original payment method, at no extra fee to you. We may withhold the refund until the goods (or proof of return) arrive.
Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you're withdrawing.
You bear the direct cost of return shipping.
Deduction for reduced value: you're only liable for reduced value caused by handling beyond what's needed to check the item (as you could in a shop — unpacking, inspecting, nothing more). If the returned piece is used, damaged, chipped, stained, missing its original packaging, or otherwise shows handling beyond that, we will deduct the resulting loss in value from your refund. Where the item is no longer resaleable as a result, the deduction may be up to the full purchase price.
How to Return a Piece
(Germany, Norway, UK only)
- Email hello@muhrceramics.com with your order number and item(s), within the 14-day period above.
- Pack it securely in the original packaging — ceramics break easily, and damage in return transit will affect your refund (see above).
- Ship it back yourself, tracked and insured. Uninsured/untracked parcels that are lost or damaged in transit can't be refunded.
- Refund issued within 14 days of us receiving and inspecting the piece.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
(applies to every country we ship to)
Inspect your order on arrival. If it's damaged, defective, or wrong, email hello@muhrceramics.com with photos so we can sort it quickly — your statutory warranty rights apply regardless of when you report it (see Terms, Section 7).
